Producer Letter (July 26, 2023)

Thank you for playing Last Cloudia.

As we announced on the official livestream on July 25, 2023, the person overseeing the Japanese and English versions of Last Cloudia will change from Producer Takeshima (Takeson) to Producer Takeuchi (Knacky).

This letter includes messages from both producers, so please take a moment to give it a read.

As announced recently on the Last Cloudia TV livestream, Producer Takeuchi (Knacky) will be taking over the producer role for the Japanese and English versions of Last Cloudia, which I have been the producer of since October 2020—nearly three years. I want to thank everyone for all of your support so far.

During my nearly three-year tenure as producer, I had many good and not-so-good experiences. I definitely credit being able to make it this far to all of you who celebrated with me during the good times, as well as those who gave feedback and encouragement during the not-so-good times. Though I think there were a lot of times where things didn’t go quite as smoothly as I had hoped they would, I’d still like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of you. Thank you all so very much.

Going forward, I will be moving to the role of producer for the Traditional Chinese and Korean versions of Last Cloudia.
*The Traditional Chinese and Korean versions of Last Cloudia are currently managed by another company, but, as we announced recently, AIDIS Inc. has decided to take over live-ops and publishing for these versions going forward.

As such, this is not the end of my involvement with Last Cloudia; I’ll still be working on the game. Additionally, as one of the people in charge of Last Cloudia as a whole, I’ll continue to contribute to the game from behind the scenes, so I hope to still receive your continued support.

I firmly believe that when I pass the English and Japanese versions to Producer Takeuchi, he’ll ensure Last Cloudia is a solidly exciting game. He plays, knows more about, and loves Last Cloudia more than anyone else. He’s also sharply tuned to the opinions and feedback from you and other Last Cloudia players, so I don’t think there is anyone who is more suitable for this position. Some players might feel uneasiness as he gets used to the position, but I hope that you give him all of the kind support that you’ve given me over the years.

Last but not least, I just want to say that I have greatly enjoyed these past three years as the producer of Last Cloudia. Through the game, I was able to connect with many players and get a real sense of their feelings and impressions about what we are creating, which made me realize all over again just how much power games can have. These amazing experiences will continue to act as a source of encouragement for us to provide you with even more fun and exciting adventures.

Thank you all for continuing to play Last Cloudia!!!

Teruya Takeshima (Takeson)

Thank you for playing Last Cloudia. I’m Producer Takeuchi (Knacky), the new producer of the Japanese and English versions of Last Cloudia.

I’ve been working as part of the Last Cloudia team for about four and a half years, since around January of 2019, just before the game was released. Most recently, I’ve been working as the assistant producer to Producer Takeshima, but before that, my responsibilities included customer support and brainstorming ideas for the game.

I’ve been involved since before the game was released, so I’ve seen and been part of the entire history of Last Cloudia. I can’t describe how excited I am to be taking on the role of producer for Last Cloudia. (Admittedly, I also feel a bit overwhelmed at having such big shoes to fill!)

What I can tell you though, is that I love Last Cloudia and I play it often. I think that, as a game, it still has so much potential to be even more entertaining than it currently is. I promise to do my best to take in the feedback about what people love about the game, as well as the points where people feel dissatisfied with it, and use that knowledge to work with the staff to create a better Last Cloudia. I look forward to the continued support from all of you Last Cloudia players as we work to ensure that the game will continue to be something you can enjoy for years to come.

Producer Natsuki Takeuchi (Knacky)

Thank you for your continued support of Last Cloudia.
