Producer Letter (May 23, 2023)

Hello, adventurers! As always, thank you for playing Last Cloudia.
This is Producer Takeshima. Many of you know me by my nickname, Takeson.

Believe it or not, today we are celebrating the 1500th day since the release of Last Cloudia!
Everyone here at AIDIS would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the players who have supported us over this time.
(It feels like I just wrote the producer’s letter celebrating 1000 days since the release of Last Cloudia, but suddenly we’re already at 1500 days! That went by really fast!)

In the producer’s letter that was released alongside the fourth anniversary livestream, I mainly focused on what we were doing for events and promotions.
That’s why in this producer’s letter, I’d like to switch things up a bit and touch on a few things that have been on my mind recently and on some things for the future.

I’ll start by talking about what’s been on my mind recently. With our videos like the Last Cloudia Drawing Session and Last Cloudia Chat over Drinks, players have more chances than ever to get up close and personal with Last Cloudia staff and creators.

This project was started partly in response to requests from players, but also with the hope that by sharing the thoughts and feelings of the staff involved in the production of Last Cloudia, players would gain a deeper interest in the game and come to love it even more.
(Aya came up with this plan!)

As for the results, more people than I expected have watched the videos and had the chance to learn more about Last Cloudia.
All of our staff have taken a look at the comments left on our social media posts and videos, and they’ve been a great source of encouragement!
We hope to have more chances to introduce more of our staff and their works to you in the future.

Next, regarding things I’ve been considering for the future, I mentioned in my closing remarks during the fourth anniversary livestream that I feel that Last Cloudia has become a game that connects people in game and through other means such as social media and livestreams.
Of course, we will continue to listen to everyone’s opinions and requests, and continue to operate Last Cloudia in a way that keeps it growing along with our player base. In our fifth year, we hope to communicate even more with our players—not only those in Japan, but also those around the world.

Last Cloudia isn’t just a game played in Japan; it’s played in thirty-four countries around the world.
In addition to Japanese, it’s also available in English, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
We’re working hard to make Last Cloudia a game that is known by everyone around the world.
Thank you, to each and every one of you!

Lastly, I want to mention that this week marks the end of our fourth anniversary celebration and the start of a collaboration with Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.
Beyond that, we plan to add more main story, and continuously work on creating new content.
Also… Something hot is coming during the summer this year!
We’re preparing a lot of different things, so you should definitely look forward to them.

It’s been 1500 days since Last Cloudia’s release. But Kyle’s journey is just getting started.
I wonder if our next milestone will be 2000 days from release.
Just like Kyle and the others have done, we in the Last Cloudia team plan to bring players around the world countless exciting adventures that reflect all the fun and excitement we experience daily while developing and operating the game.

We appreciate your continued support of Last Cloudia.
